Previously, I went on a mission trip to Guatemala and saw all they did in helping out the local farmers. Before, due to many factors, the farmers were getting exploited to sell their products for extremely low prices where providing basic necessities were very hard for them. However, the mission created a structure to buy their coffee for a fair price and sell them to visiting tourists.
I thought there are many other places that could receive this kind of aid. So, we are trying to help impoverished farmers in Indonesia by directly connecting the supply chain between the farmers and consumers, without the intervention of third party for-profit organizations . All profits generated will go the farmers.
